My Story Part 1 & Purpose of the Podcast

When Adam Phillips, the Founder of Life Grip felt his health slipping away while working a hectic FIFO lifestyle which involved dismal nutrition, he knew something had to change. He gave up his hard-partying ways and explored many areas of health and wellbeing and ultimately, turned his life – and his health – around. Adam learned that by putting healthy foods into his body, he was able to create a new vision for his future and that vision includes the courses, products and services he offers today.

“I realised there is one thing I can never do and that’s bypass clean whole food nutrition,” he says. “I researched and spent thousands of dollars on education and  consults. I found that this type of adaptive nutrition seemed to only be available to athletes, CEOs and the wealthy. I decided to bring this to the everyday person so that they can experience a better quality of life.”

My Story: Coming from a life that was in a rapid downward spiral, partying with alcohol and eventually adding drugs into the mix and then grinding through my own mental battles which that lifestyle put me in.

I managed to come out the other side and made a commitment to create the cleanest supplements on the market and share my story of growth and transition to all that can relate to my story.

The turning point for me was the last time I was sick, I was in such a bad way that I lost 12kg’s in 48hrs, my fingernails went black and I then knew I never want to go back there again. I was sick from a mix of a work hard, party hard lifestyle and poor nutrition on site. I turned my health around fiorst beginning with a clean whole food diet.

The first thing I noticed was the energy and mental clarity that came from eating a clean whole food diet. By default, this experience made me look at other areas of my life and how I could enhance them. From that day something clicked, it's that it all starts with Nutrition. You can have goals, targets, and dreams, but if you’re body and mind isn’t being nourished correctly and your being fed with stimulates like I was and with a poor lifestyle, then any attempt at any dream or target would be futile. Plus that dream more than likely isn’t the real you anyways, because your dream came from a stimulated state of being, not the real you.

You can’t have a positive mindset, without being fed the right foods. You can’t create a dream true to yourself, nor live a life true to yourself, without consuming a clean whole food diet and a clean lifestyle.

I think, react and make different decisions when I’m stimulated compared to when I’m feeling clean and healthy. I have a completely different perception of the world when I’m feeling this way. I see the world through different eyes, and my perception of everything is different than my lifestyle I was living before.

I began to become very aware of how I was feeling after my meals from one meal to the next and noticed something profound that would change my life forever.

It was now that I researched hundreds of articles and books and spent thousands of dollars on education and consults in order to find out how to fine tune my Food Types, Food Amounts and Meal Timing. This sort of adaptive nutrition was before only applied to high class athletes, CEO’s and the wealthy..

This should be available to everyone, as it was clear to me the impact that it has on the quality of your life, performance, mental health and perception of the world.

So I decided to bring what high class athletes, CEO’s and the wealthy receive, to the everyday person willing to increase their quality of life.

The mission statement was created and then Life Grip was built around this:
