Student-athletes. They spend countless hours lifting in the weight room, practicing drills, and competing in their respective sports. The second a student-athlete becomes injured, they are sent to the doctor, put on treatment, and begin the road to recovery. So why is it that so many student-athletes aren't getting the help they need for their mental well-being? The mind and body are connected, so why are so many insitutions failing to educate and talk about mental health? This podcast tries to discover why the pressure is so high for this population of students and the social stigma surrounding seeking help.
