By popular demand, Katie Hogan becomes our first female guest on the PowerCast. Good thing she can hold her own when Mark tries to get to the bottom of her famous short shorts! Katie is a CrossFit competitor, a elite raw powerlifter and has competed in Olympic weightlifting. We talk training, nutrition and the ups and downs of being a coach. Katie also gives us her take on the mental toughness needed for grueling SealFit course she recently completed. (Yes, she's probably tougher than you. We're pretty sure she's tough than us.) Katie recently appeared as a trainer on "The Biggest Loser." She's also a Crossfit Level 1 coach, a USAW Level 1 Sports Performance coach, and an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer.

    Great interview with Katie. One comment on the CrossFit certification and who/what to you think if CrossFit had a mandatory exercise science/kinesiology background requirements it would decrease the amount of people that come in that are so "out of tune with their bodies?" Not saying everyone who has this degree is %100 in tuned, but they sure as hell have a better understanding of the human body than just anyone coming off the street who is motivated? Just sayin.
