The Blues and Predators could not muster any offense in the first period, but the second period would be a different story. The Blues would get goals from Vladimir Tarasenko, Alex Pietrangelo, and Tyler Bozak in the second period. While Nashville would get one goal by Viktor Arvidsson in the second. The Blues looked like they would run away with this game, but Nashville came alive in the third with four goals to take a one goal lead at four to three. Vladimir Tarasenko would tie the game at four with his second goal of the game. Tarasenko would get the game winner just 16 seconds in to the overtime period for his third goal of the game and huge road win for the Blues.
