CigarScore Podcast

To be honest, I went into this cigar totally blind. Before smoking the Mr. White by Sinistro (what an odd name!?) I'd never heard of this company and I'd done no research. Let's see how it went!

Check out the Luxury Cigar Club:

Initial Thoughts:

I went into the Sinistro Mr. White completely blind. I knew nothing about this cigar or the Sinistro brand, so this is a totally raw cigar review. After cutting the pyramid tip, I got a decent cold draw, but once I lit the cigar, things tightened up a little bit. I had to cut more off to get going. The wrapper is a light brown with a few noticeable veins running down the side. The burn on the Mr. White started very even, and I think I'm going to like it.

Brand: Sinistro
Line: Mr. White
Size: 6 1/4 x 52
Cut: Guillotine
Light: Torch
Price: $8.15

Final Thoughts:

The Sinistro Mr. White Belicoso burned pretty consistently throughout the entire smoke. Apart from some minor issue where a sliver of the wrapper leaf didn't burn right, everything was smooth sailing. Regarding the draw, my initial cut wasn't enough, so I did have to cut it again, but that's nothing to complain about. The flavors during the first 2/3s of the Sinistro Mr. White were smooth and creamy. However, as I started in on the final third, those delicious flavors disappeared and were replaced by tastes that were bitter and harsh. While the cigar seemed well made, I didn't love how the flavors didn't stay consistently good. And, because I didn't just love the Mr. White, I have to give it a CigarScore of 3.
