Friends from Jalopnik Andrew Collins and Freddy "Tavarish" Hernandez join us in the podcast studio. The pair are fresh off a trip to Moab for the Easter Jeep Safari, and they've also got plenty to talk about besides freezing their asses off in Utah. We learn a bit about covering the Dakar rally, and dive into the insane driveway of Tavarish. There's a dash of news in the beginning before we descend into the madness.

Great podcast, guys. Best of 2016 so far? I thinks so.

I can relate to Jeff's feelings on the QX60. It's adequate, and is related to both the Pathfinder and Murano (might even have the same CVT). I drove this one from Midland Texas, into wonderful Marfa, and then on to Big Bend (where it got dirty), El Paso, multiple points in New Mexico, and eventually Phoenix. Thanks to tons of coasting down mountains, I managed to get 28MPG over 1888 miles driven. It's the least luxurious Infiniti, but also the most family-friendly Infiniti. I think Jeff does videos of all the press cars he drives, so maybe a video is coming?

UTAH BEER LAWS: 3.2% alcohol is the limit for canned beers NOT sold in liquor stores. but there is a .8% tolerance so most of the craft breweries sell 4.0% beers in grocery stores and gas stations
in liquor stores you can get full test beer but it is bought by the bottle so it's very expensive. full test beer is available on tap.
