Scott Livingston published on

This episode features a leader in human performance in Canada, Darren Steeves.  Darren has come to realize that his life’s purpose is to help people. His purpose is expressed in many forms from supporting world champions, to building resilience in university students, and corporate employees finding innovative IT solutions. He loves the evidence process and attempts to keep a growth mindset every day. Through this purpose and his values of collaboration, innovation, trustworthiness and curiosity he has been led to Olympic games, international speaking engagements, publishing research, and collaborating with some of the world’s best people in sport science, coaching, resilience, and strength, and conditioning.  Darren lives in Halifax with his wife Julia and fur baby Rudy. You can meet Rudy on Darren’s TedTalk titled “Stuff I have learned from my dog”. You can still find Darren on the ice trying to relive the glory days, or out on a hike in some of the beautiful spots in NS with Julia.
