Episode 48: The Hedgehog in the Plastic Bubble-Still Making Fun of Twilight, After All These Years
"The truth is hiding over my eyes and it's stinging on your arm. Just spoiling in my mind. But you think that I can't see What kind of half-man that you are? If you're half-man at all. Well, I will figure this one out on my own (I'm screaming, "I miss them so") On my own (My thoughts they can't decode) How did we get here? When I used to know you so well, yeah How did we get here? Well, I think I know how..."
Hello and welcome back to the Littlest PetCast. In today's episode, we go over the episode "The Hedgehog in the Plastic Bubble", written by Adam Beechen and directed by Dallas Parker. In the episode Blythe thinks she's caught a dangerous disease known as "Jerry Berry" and quarantines herself from everyone she cares about. Meanwhile, Russell is loosing his quills and nobody knows why. When the pets go to ask Blythe about what to do they are hindered, as Blythe's imagination takes over and she believes that she is Annabelle and that Price Skeezious is after her.
Who out of the intended audience saw the twist coming? Do dogs evolve into human-like beings slower because they're so interconnected with humans? What makes a cold opening cold? How layered is the attempt to ship Russell and Blythe on the part of the writers? Why does this show nail how ridiculous Twilight can be?
