Passionate insight on the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons (may God have mercy on their soul) from an aspiring journalist and NBA die-hard in the "Motor City." Documentaries, play-by-play, video games and some solid comedy included. Listen and enjoy! This responsibly.
Prepare for some polarizing opinions and plan to get angry at times. Prepare to laugh and think the host is an idiot. Prepare for some quality radio entertainment. This is Sports Day in the D.
I'm your host John Ott. I'm 33 years old. I have Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Bachelor's Degree in Journalism at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. I understand that the life of a journalist is tough and that money is hard to come by. However, when you really enjoy something I find it's best to do what you love.
The purpose of the show is to provide information and opinion that's honest and entertaining. I won't be afraid to tell you how I feel about a topic and I don't expect you to always agree with it. I hope that given time you will feel comfortable enough to question my thoughts and insight as well as laugh along with me.
My goal for the show is to expand and get noticed to work for a paper, provide play-by-play and bring my insight to a professional radio show for a larger audience. Everything I do here involves my livelihood and I truly care about it. I want this to reflect in the content I bring to you. All I ask in return is for you to listen. Share the site with your friends if you enjoy it.
I encourage everyone to get involved with the show. Feel free to contact me, participate in the topics, ask questions, provide show ideas and mention play-by-play that you'd like to hear.
I'm always looking for a color commentator and I'd be happy to participate in your radio show as well.
Thank you for taking the time to check out the show and as always leave comments and questions.
