The Blues split their last 2 games of the year. They fall 4-2 to the Stars and bounce back with a 3-2 win over the Hurricanes.

The Blues wanted to end the year on a high note with two wins in their last two games of 2017. They played very well agaisnt the Stars and took a 2-1 lead in to the third period. However, the Stars would score three goals including an empty net goal to give them a 4-2 win. The Blues returned home the next night to play the Hurricanes. The Blues played well again, but lost a 2-0 lead and the Hurricanes tied it at two going in to the third period. Scottie Upshall gave the Blues the lead and the eventual win on a goal eight minutes and fiftyy eight seconds in to the third period.
