Rally North America (yes, still on the road)

Chris Hayes published on

Once again the guys have sent me another remote recording from a hotel for editing and ultimatale your listening pleasure. This time they're talking with Tony and Scott of Rally North America. Up first is a brief discussion on why Cobras and Slingshots are a bad choice for a rally, followed thereafter by mild offroading in a Corvette, the proliferation of the Confederate flag, a wavering Alfa Romeo 4C and of course the charity behind Rally North America; Hope for the Warriors.

Have fun at Roebling. Great track

You guys were a little rough on Doc and his Slingshot. He was running with us and we came in late because we spent time at the checkpoints, stopped for lunch, and hit rain on some really twisty roads in the afternoon that were dry when the lead cars went through.

We did not mean to be rough on him. I have the greatest respect for Doc and I am always interested in what he has to say as it's typically well thought out and is always interesting. He did get slammed with rain on day 1 but he knew what he was getting into. Tony
