Throwing From the One
"He Threw a Bus Through a Window"
Finally, after several weeks of baseball, this episode starts with the show's first earnest MLB segment. The guys take some stats with a grain of salt and outright reject others depending on their takes. Things are pointing towards a good-old-fashioned sub .500 Mariners season and Jeremy and Noah expect the team to finish around .500 but probably below (shocker.) Walker is tentatively excited about the Red Sox' franchise-record 8-1 start against poor competition and the guys address Giancarlo Stanton's struggles early in his first season with the New York Yankees. Noah and Walker argue about the Celtics' ability to compete (or beat) LeBron in a multidude of scenarios and spend way too much time on the history of Cleveland Cavaliers role players. Also included are minutes on Patrick Reed's victory at The Masters and Conor McGregor's arrest at UFC 223.
