The popular idea of church and the Biblical one seem to be very far apart. Church has become a place we go to or an event we attend instead of a body we’re part of. Being lukewarm and living safe have become very common among people in the church. Unconditional love, radical obedience, and wholehearted devotion to Christ seem to be “special attributes” present in a select few instead of defining marks of everyone in the church.

Throughout the pages of Scripture we see how much God loved and valued the church even unto death (Eph. 5:25). He calls the church to action (Matt. 28:19-20) and promises that hell itself would not conquer it (Matt. 16:18). This series aims to challenge students to embrace their roles as members of the body of Christ. We desire that young people be salt and light to the schools, families, and communities they are in. We believe that no one is too young to live courageously for Jesus.
